IPhone/iPod Touch, Overhype?

i haven't heard or read many post's on this...but i kinda, find it annoying how the iphone and itouch gain so much popularity, (generally the iphone) i have the first gen iphone. and its still a great device, but doe's anyone agree apple computers are hardly getting much media coverage compared to the handheld devices? i think its becoming a very annoying hipster thing.
