Should the U.S. implement a population control policy?

Though things like ending immigration for a while by closing the borders,both by sea and land,birth control,especially for those with incurable disabilites and illnessses,(even sometimes with forced abortions too.)selective breeding,I think it could be a good idea because so the economy would truly prosper,with less people to feed and care for,less unemployment which would mean higher wages and profits for everyone.Less Crime because of less people and less feebled minded individuals.
