drupada sends his priest drutarastra with the consent of srikrishna to advise him to settle the matter peacefully, he meets drutarastra in the presence of bhishma and drona and advises him not to have any confrontations with pandavas. srikrisna is the leader.once druyodhana and arjuna wanted to meet srikrishna who was pretending sleeping.arjuna sat at his feet, when srikrishna got 1st he saw arjuna he told duryodhana'' u have come 1st but i saw arjuna 1st.there fore i would like to treat u two on equal footing.i offer my help o yadava army to the help of the other, you choose one of them'' duryodhna choose the army and arjuna choose lord krishna himself.duryodhna did not realise the supreme divine personality of lord krisnha while arjuna was always concious of his divine supremacy.duryodhna gathered eleven askhauhini army while there was seven askuahini army on padavas side.krishna himself provided that but on the condition that he personally would not raise any weapon. Arjuna, on behalf of the Pandavas, chose to have Krishna on their side, and Duryodhana, chief of the Kauravas, chose Krishna's army
